My husband and I built a home at Pike Lake and we designed our own floor plan.  What many people don't realize (including my self) that it is one thing to design an open concept with very few walls but yet another to try to heat it!  We did our own general contracting, so we met with Wes LaPointe of ToonTown Heating & Cooling and immediately knew that he was the one we wanted to work with.

Wes is very good at what he does, and by that I mean not only is he knowledgeable but because of our floor plan he had to do a lot of research with his suppliers to meet all of our needs.  He is a pleasure to work with and always questioned us to what we would like to see happen.  For example, we built a Sun Room, that we were just going to use it as a three season room without heating vents.  He knew that I wanted to use it all year around so he made sure that we could have it heated even though he had some challenges!

We have a crawl space rather than a full basement so there were many days that Wes spent at least 8 hours in cramped quarters and yet always maintained his sense of humor. I have absolutely no problem with recommending him to anyone as I know he will do a great job.

We had many trades in our home and every one of them complimented us on Wes’ workmanship, even our Park Building Inspector.  It is always a pleasure when you are building, to have someone like Wes asking you where you would be planning on arranging your furniture so that he could plan the heat ducts in our favor but of course maintain efficiency.  If anyone would ever like to call us or see his work, please do not hesitate to call.
